August 18th, 2009Whats going on everybody this is Landon Stewart talking to you about exactly how to build a huge network marketing downline. I know it sounds easier than it actually is, but I am going to give you the best way to build up this downline as fast as possible.
Really building a network marketing downline is not that difficult when you have someone simplifying it all for you.
I am debating whether or not I want to just give you some tips in this article or if I want to go full out and tell you exactly what you HAVE to have to succeed in network marketing.
I think I am going to just give it to you step by step.
So here they are:
- You HAVE to read Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring
The information inside that book is so powerful that I have even given it to people that aren’t even in network marketing and it changed their lives.
The day I read that book changed my business forever.
- You need to read A LOT
I know you don’t like to hear it. I know I sure didn’t but you just have to.
All successful people read all the time.
Whenever I am interviewing a prospect that is acting tough saying he is going to go out and sell to everyone and make thousands and thousands of dollars. The first question I will ask him is “So what book on marketing or leadership are you reading right now?”
I swear that 8 times out of 10 they will say none.
“Knowledge is power” is not just a corny cliché anymore. It is 100% true.
- You need to brand yourself.

But this is what I mean by that. Right now you are most likely out there shouting that you have the best opportunity in the world. The only problem is that you are only branding that opportunity. You are just some pawn in a bigger game.
When you should be thinking the opposite; your opportunity should be the small pawn in the bigger game, YOUR game.

- You need to learn exactly how to talk to prospects on the phone.
So many people think that building a network marketing downline is all about a computer screen. They think that they are done with belly to belly, so they are completely done with people.
This could not be further from the truth. The computer is just a different platform to reach large amounts of people 10 times faster than every before, but we are still in the “people” business.
Mike and Mark’s Black Belt Recruiting really changed the way I talked to people on the phone.
Am I saying that you have to go out and buy that too? No of course not, but you need to find a clean way to talk to people on the phone.
You need a way that you can qualify your prospects, before you start wasting your time and energy on a tire kicker.

There you have it. That is not everything you need of course, but if you have done everything that I just mentioned, there is no way that you can fail.

Network Marketing Recruitment

I am writing this post here about network marketing recruitment.
I have noticed over the last couple of years that this is one of the biggest struggles that network marketers have.
Here’s why:
Network marketers are all the same. They are all one in a million.
How can you get someone to trust you if they just think of you as one of a million to them. You are no better than the guy sitting right next to you. You offer prospects no real value(yet).
That is what so many marketers do wrong. They do not understand the concept of providing value.
They love to take, take, take, but when it comes to giving value you to somebody else, they completely freeze up.
Most feel like they have nothing to offer their prospects, and their prospects can sense that.
People don’t join opportunities, people join leaders.
You need to start making your prospect think that you are the leader, whether you actually are one right now or not.

It has been this way for thousands of years. It is just human nature. Think about it. A pack of wolves follows one leader, until one rises up to take control. They then break off into two different packs of wolves.
Same goes in the real world. I know you must think that the “survival instinct” is not around anymore, but trust me it still is.
People look to follow.
Like when you put a group of ten or more people into a room within minutes one will rise to lead, and the others all follow him or her.
That is what you need to be if you really want this network marketing recruitment to work for you. People do not just want to join under some average Joe. They are looking to better themselves as a person.
It is all about trading in the old you of one of a million, and getting the new you that is one of a kind.
I know you might be thinking, “well yeah landon, it sounds good n’ all but I don’t have any real value to offer somebody”.
I have one piece of advice for you, go out and get some. Read a lot. You gain value by learning, and by making mistakes and then fixing them

A little bit about this blog..
August 15th, 2009Whats going on everybody? I have been getting some emails lately at lstewart53×3@yahoo.com asking me what exactly this blog was going to be about, and who exactly i am.
So i thought that i would come out with a couple of posts talking just a little bit more about me, and what i want to accomplish.
Well first I would like to just take a minute here to talk about exactly you are going to gain from my blog. Here is the thing that I have noticed over my first few years of online/network marketing: Most people fail. I do not know what it is, but nearly everyone that tries to learn how to move their business online, whether it be simply affiliating products or getting into the complex world of network marketing, FAILS. I don’t think that the stat saying that 97% of online marketers spend more money than they ever make is just made up. From what I have seen, I think it would be closer to 99%.
That is what I am here for. I think that there is one way that a person can succeed in network marketing, and that is just to LEARN. If there is one thing that I have noticed in my short time in this industry, every single successful person READS. I know sounds lame right, but it works. They know more about this industry than anybody else, and that is why they succeed. It is not just dumb luck that one day they just started making millions of dollars. They simply just learned more than anybody else.
So now here are the two most efficient ways of gaining intelligence.
I think it takes a certain amount of failure to ever succeed online. Those stories of people hopping on the internet one night and making six figures the next morning are fantasy. Yeah one night might have changed everything for them, but they “forgot” to mention the six years that they struggled to make enough money just to pay for their advertising. So the first thing you could do is simply just fail. Go out there and make a whole bunch of mistakes, learn from them, then change what you did wrong, and you are one step closer to meeting your goal.
There is that, or you could just buy books from the so called gurus in the industry, and you can learn from their mistakes. You could either go out and buy a 20 dollar book talking about how I made a 2000 dollar mistake, or you could go out and make a 2000 dollar mistake. Either way you are learning the same concept.
The simple truth is to be successful you need to learn. I once read an article from Mike Dillard saying that every successful person that he knows probably has read enough books to have a PHD in network marketing. I would not doubt that for one second.
So here is the thing, the reason that I am making this blog. Well first of all to inform that 97% of failing online marketers, but also just to share my mistakes. I want everyone to know exactly what I did wrong, so that they don’t have to make the same mistakes that I made.
Now if this is not you. If you are having all of the success that you want, then yeah this page not might be for you. But if you are failing and not willing to invest in your intelligence, this page is definately not for you. To be quite honest this blog is only for the people that want something more. They look at their current situation, and say to themselves, this just isn’t good enough. I want to be able to have exactly what i want in this life. I only have one chance at it, and i want to make the very best that it can be. Now if this is you stick around, email me, call me just do whatever you have to do. Invest in your future.

A common misconception that most people make is in the opportunity that they choose.
People think that if they could only find a product that they are excited about they will just make it online. This could not be further from the truth.
In all honesty the product really does not matter. The opportunity, the compensation plan, and the founders are irrelevant when building a business.
People join people not opportunities.
The sooner network marketers realize this the sooner they can be successful.

Now don’t get me wrong you want the best opportunity that you can find, but joining under someone that can actually lead you is 10 times more important.
I go over this is great detail in the book that I just wrote.
So honestly the best mlm network marketing opportunity relies on the people involved.
A business opportunity mlm is only as great at the person presenting it to you.
If I was you looking for the best network marketing opportunity, I would call a leader in this industry and ask him what he is involved in.
Even if you think it is the crappiest opportunity out there, you will be more successful than just going at this on your own.
So why not just give a network marketing leader a call, and see what they are involved in.
You could always google best network marketing opportunities, but just because an opportunity is great for somebody else does not mean that it will be great for you.
And whatever you do, make sure it is a legitimate company. You don’t want to be involved with something that is going to be around for 6 months, and then just crashes.
Regenesis 2×2 is a great example of this. Everyone thought that it was going to be a great opportunity, but it was a 2×2 matrix which will only last 6 to 9 months at a time.
A lot of people were out there saying this, but no one believed them, and a lot of people lost a lot of money with Regenesis 2×2.
So yeah call a leader and ask him what the best mlm network marketing opportunity is, and make sure it is legitimate.
Those are two very important steps for people just starting out in network marketing.
