People know that right now network marketers are given a bad name. It’s not out faults necessarily. The blame lies on the ignorant.

Let me explain.

The people that give network marketing the bad name are the people that go out there using the three feet rule.

They try to get every single person within three feet to sign up for their business opportunity. They have no respect for anyone else except themselves. They call their family annoying the crap out of them begging them to join their business.

Why would their family join their business? So that they could annoy the crap out the rest of their family?

I don’t think so. That is the BIGGEST turn off in the world, and it is a fast way to lose the people closest to you.

But thank god because now the internet has been invented. We no longer have to rely on our warm marketing anymore(crap list).

We are better than that, but there are still people ruining our reputation by making themselves look like a fool.

Nothing makes me madder than someone begging me to join their business.

But in all honestly I probably should not be mad at that person whatsoever.

They do not even know what they are doing. That is all their upline taught them to do. It is just all they were programmed to do.

And they just have not found this website yet :) .

So in network marketing/mlm home business..

You HAVE to you the internet as leverage in this industry. Only the people that use the power of the World Wide Web are going to make it.

A little bit about this blog..

Whats going on everybody? I have been getting some emails lately at lstewart53×3@yahoo.com asking me what exactly this blog was going to be about, and who exactly i am.

So i thought that i would come out with a couple of posts talking just a little bit more about me, and what i want to accomplish.

Well first I would like to just take a minute here to talk about exactly you are going to gain from my blog. Here is the thing that I have noticed over my first few years of online/network marketing: Most people fail. I do not know what it is, but nearly everyone that tries to learn how to move their business online, whether it be simply affiliating products or getting into the complex world of network marketing, FAILS. I don’t think that the stat saying that 97% of online marketers spend more money than they ever make is just made up. From what I have seen, I think it would be closer to 99%.

That is what I am here for. I think that there is one way that a person can succeed in network marketing, and that is just to LEARN. If there is one thing that I have noticed in my short time in this industry, every single successful person READS. I know sounds lame right, but it works. They know more about this industry than anybody else, and that is why they succeed. It is not just dumb luck that one day they just started making millions of dollars. They simply just learned more than anybody else.

So now here are the two most efficient ways of gaining intelligence.

I think it takes a certain amount of failure to ever succeed online. Those stories of people hopping on the internet one night and making six figures the next morning are fantasy. Yeah one night might have changed everything for them, but they “forgot” to mention the six years that they struggled to make enough money just to pay for their advertising. So the first thing you could do is simply just fail. Go out there and make a whole bunch of mistakes, learn from them, then change what you did wrong, and you are one step closer to meeting your goal.

There is that, or you could just buy books from the so called gurus in the industry, and you can learn from their mistakes. You could either go out and buy a 20 dollar book talking about how I made a 2000 dollar mistake, or you could go out and make a 2000 dollar mistake. Either way you are learning the same concept.

The simple truth is to be successful you need to learn. I once read an article from Mike Dillard saying that every successful person that he knows probably has read enough books to have a PHD in network marketing. I would not doubt that for one second.

So here is the thing, the reason that I am making this blog. Well first of all to inform that 97% of failing online marketers, but also just to share my mistakes. I want everyone to know exactly what I did wrong, so that they don’t have to make the same mistakes that I made.

Now if this is not you. If you are having all of the success that you want, then yeah this page not might be for you. But if you are failing and not willing to invest in your intelligence, this page is definately not for you. To be quite honest this blog is only for the people that want something more. They look at their current situation, and say to themselves, this just isn’t good enough. I want to be able to have exactly what i want in this life. I only have one chance at it, and i want to make the very best that it can be. Now if this is you stick around, email me, call me just do whatever you have to do. Invest in your future.

How to Handle Your First Year in Network Marketing!

Hey everybody this is landon stewart here. This post is geared towards your first year in network marketing. I think that we can all agree that your first year in the business is the most challenging. There are hundreds of opportunities calling your name, and they all look ALMOST perfect. There are advertisements of people saying that they will be the sponsor for you, but they probably don’t even know what they are doing. There are way too many distractions going on to ever find any real results that first year.

Since my first year in network marketing is already over, I think I could give you a couple of tips on what to avoid, and what is really going to help you get success.

First of all network marketing online or offline is all about people. Never forget that there are real people behind those computer screens. That is one of the biggest obstacles for most new network marketers. They think “yes finally no more door to door sales, I don’t have to deal with people anymore”. This could not be further from the truth. You cannot just expect to put up a corporate lead capture page given to you by your company of choice. I am sorry, but that same lead capture page is being used by hundreds of other marketers from your same company. Why should prospects join you instead of that guy?

That is what I am here to do. I want to separate you from just being THAT guy. I want to turn you from that guy to THE guy. I want to turn you from being one of a thousand into one of a kind.

That is honestly my goal for this blog. All too often marketers think that people join the opportunity. If you have read enough of my posts I am sure that you have heard me say this before, but it is just that important. People DO NOT join opportunities. People join people.

You have something that not one other sponsor has. You might not know exactly what that is yet, but there is something that sets you apart. My personal advice: look into one particular type of online marketing. It doesn’t matter what it is. It could be content marketing, video marketing, web 2.0 marketing, or even PPC marketing. Just look into one type. One mistake that people make is they try to master every type all at the same time, and they end up sucking at them all. Sorry about the language, but it is true. What you need to do is master just one type. Research it, practice it, and then master it.

See what you are doing when you master just one type of marketing comes back to you two fold. Obviously you start getting traffic from it, which is always a plus. But the main reason it is so good to master one kind is not when you talk to your prospects (potential distributors), you have something to teach them. If you can teach a prospect one thing, you will have their trust for life.
